- Practiced as an osteopath in the UK for 14 years, working first as an associate and later in partnership with a local GP.
- Managed a multi-disciplinary sports injury clinic in the UK before relocating.
- Moved to Whanganui, New Zealand, in 2003 and established clinical practice there.
- Completed multiple postgraduate osteopathy courses and continues ongoing professional development.
- Maintains a strong commitment to lifelong learning in osteopathic healthcare, the human body, and pain science.
- Founding member of Osteopaths New Zealand (ONZ).
- Served as President of Osteopaths New Zealand (ONZ).
- Served as Vice President of the International Society for Osteopathic Practice (ISOP).
- Worked part-time for two years as a Clinical Advisor to ACC.
- Served on multiple advisory boards related to osteopathic practice.
- Participated in the examination of final-year osteopathy students.
- Currently serves as a preceptor, supporting and mentoring overseas osteopaths transitioning to practice in New Zealand.
- Clinical focus includes the management of chronic pain and its impact on daily function and quality of life.
- Works with a broad range of patients, including students, athletes, retirees, and individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Helps patients improve function, pain understanding, and pain management strategies.
- Expanded clinical skills with Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) to support chronic pain management.
- Integrates clinical hypnotherapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) tools into patient care for chronic pain.
- Applies a research-supported, multidisciplinary approach to chronic pain management.
- Has a personal interest in mountain biking and snowboarding, with an understanding of injury prevention, rehabilitation, and maintaining an active lifestyle.
- Has built collaborative relationships with surgeons, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, general practitioners, rehabilitation teams, acupuncturists, and the local ACC branch in the Whanganui region.
- Works collaboratively with healthcare providers to help patients access the most appropriate care for their condition.
