What Are Neuronic’s qEEG Requirements?

To ensure accurate analysis and proper device programming, Neuronic requires specific technical standards for qEEG (Quantitative EEG) recordings.

Please follow the requirements below when submitting qEEG data for review.

qEEG Recording Specifications

1. Recording Conditions

Record Eyes Open (EO) first (with lights on)

Record Eyes Closed (EC) second

No additional task conditions are required

2. Channel Requirements

Minimum of 19 channels of simultaneous surface electrical activity

More than 19 channels is acceptable

3. Sensor Type

Silver/Silver-Chloride electrodes are preferred

If using alternative sensors, please specify the type

If using dry electrodes, clearly specify the model and material

4. Recording Duration

Minimum 10 minutes Eyes Open (EO)

Minimum 10 minutes Eyes Closed (EC)

5. Impedance Requirements

Ideal impedance: ≤ 10 kΩ

Maximum impedance difference between electrodes: ≤ 5 kΩ

Maintaining low and balanced impedance improves signal quality and analysis reliability.

6. File Format Requirements

Raw EEG data must be submitted in one of the following formats:

.EDF (European Data Format)

.EEG file format

7. Reference Configuration

Linked Ears reference must be used during acquisition

How to Submit qEEG Data

Raw data files must be sent to:

📩 consultation@neuronic.online

A Neuronic consultant will analyze the raw EEG data and generate a report used to program the helmet appropriately.

If you have questions about these requirements, please email consultation@neuronic.online.

Summary

Neuronic requires a 19+ channel qEEG recording with 10 minutes eyes open and 10 minutes eyes closed, low impedance (≤10 kΩ), linked ears reference, and raw data submitted in .EDF or .EEG format.
